The wine is aged in French oak barrels. It has an intense ruby color, with intense aromas of wild berries, plums, currants, smoke, bacon, and oak barrels. On the palate, it is intense, with a strong oak influence, slightly above average tannins, medium acidity, and medium aftertaste on the palate. It is good to drink now and has the potential to age up to 2030. It will pair well with burgers and pasta carbonara.
