Product details:
The wine from the Merlot variety grown in the village of Tsinandali, is fermented for about a month in qvevri and then aged in French oak barrels. The wine is dark cherry-colored, and has a ruby rim. Barrel aromas are leading, especially smoke and light leather, as well as forest soil and meat tones. It is a full-bodied and high-alcohol wine with strong tannins and a long finish.
Goes well with grilled beef and pork, mushroom dishes, and roasted vegetables.
