This dry amber wine is crafted from Kisi grapes harvested in the vicinity of Telavi, the heart of the Kakheti winemaking region. Produced by Mimino using the traditional Qvevri method, this expression brings a unique Kakhetian strength and complexity to the naturally delicate character of the Kisi variety. The prolonged skin contact in clay vessels has endowed the wine with a noble amber hue and a diverse aromatic profile. The wine displays a beautiful amber color in the glass. The bouquet is rich and complex, harmoniously blending notes of white orchard fruits with inviting aromas of dried fruits and roasted nuts. On the palate, it is defined by a medium body and a well-balanced structure. The 13% alcohol content and smooth Qvevri tannins create a balanced profile that leads to a clean, medium finish. This Kisi pairs excellently with roasted poultry, traditional walnut-based appetizers, spicy dishes, and aged cheeses.
