This dry amber wine is produced from Kakhuri Mtsvane grapes grown in Akhmeta, one of Kakheti's most historic winemaking micro-zones. Crafted in the Terra Georgia family cellar using the traditional Qvevri method, the wine underwent prolonged skin contact, allowing the 2021 vintage to develop exceptional maturity and an authentic Georgian spirit. The wine displays a deep amber hue in the glass. The bouquet is of medium intensity, highlighted by unique coniferous (pine-like) notes characteristic of the Akhmeta terroir, giving it a wild and memorable edge. On the palate, it is robust and full-bodied; the presence of rough tannins—a hallmark of traditional Qvevri fermentation—combined with 12.5% alcohol, creates a structured profile perfectly suited for hearty, traditional cuisine. This Mtsvane pairs excellently with grilled meats (Mtsvadi), walnut-based dishes, roasted game, and aged, pungent cheeses.
