This dry amber wine is produced from Tsolikauri grapes harvested in the sun-drenched vineyards of Obcha, Imereti. The celebrated terroir of Obcha, combined with the dedicated craftsmanship of Baia's family winery, imparts a unique delicacy and energy to the fruit. The wine is crafted in Qvevri using the traditional Imeretian method, which typically involves a shorter skin-contact period compared to the Kakhetian style. The wine showcases a light amber hue in the glass. The aromatic profile is inviting, featuring vibrant notes of green apple and fresh floral undertones. On the palate, it is characterized by a pleasant, well-balanced acidity and subtle tannins, which, paired with a 13% alcohol content, create a refined and refreshing mouthfeel. The Qvevri vinification adds an authentic touch and an intriguing structure to this classic Imeretian variety. This Tsolikauri perfectly pairs with Imeretian dishes, especially vegetable Pkhali with walnut paste, boiled fish, and fresh cheeses.
