This dry rose wine is a unique blend of three distinct varieties—Saperavi, Tavkveri, and Simonaseuli—harvested in the village of Saniore, Kakheti. Crafted by the "Satsnakheli" winery using traditional Qvevri methods, this expression offers a rare level of complexity and structure for a rose. The ancient technique of fermentation and aging in clay vessels imparts a primal, authentic energy to the wine. The wine displays an intense pink hue in the glass. The bouquet is defined by the sharp, inviting aromas of barberry, adding a spicy and distinctive charm. On the palate, the wine reveals a bold temperament: a vibrant, "cyanic" acidity meets surprisingly rough tannins for a rose, which, combined with 13% alcohol, creates a powerful and structured profile. This is a "different" kind of rose—rich, energetic, and robust. This Rose perfectly pairs with roasted poultry, spicy salads, cold appetizers, and semi-soft cheeses.
