This dry red wine is crafted from Saperavi grapes harvested in the distinguished vineyards of Vachnadziani, within the Kakheti region. Produced at the "Nino Meris" winery using traditional Qvevri methods, this expression gains exceptional authenticity and structural completeness. The 2023 vintage presents itself as an energetic, cheerful, and yet sophisticated wine. The wine displays an intense pomegranate hue in the glass. The bouquet is rich and expressive, dominated by vibrant aromas of red fruits. On the palate, it is defined by a "cyanic" (vibrant) acidity and the round, soft tannins characteristic of Qvevri maturation, which impart a velvety profile. The 13% alcohol content is perfectly integrated into the wine's body, culminating in a long and pleasant finish. This Saperavi pairs perfectly with traditional Georgian BBQ (Mtsvadi), roasted red meats, Kakhtetian cuisine, and aged cheeses.
