Produced from Saperavi grapes harvested in the Kakheti region, this dry red wine comes from the estates of Chelti, where meticulous attention is paid to quality. Crafted using classic winemaking technology, the wine allows the varietal characteristics of Saperavi to shine through in a clean and elegant manner. The 2020 vintage has already developed a pleasant maturity and a refined structure. The wine displays an intense ruby hue in the glass. The bouquet is of medium intensity, featuring a harmonious development of dark berry and cherry notes. On the palate, it is well-structured and lively; a vibrant, "cyanic" acidity and a 13.5% alcohol content are perfectly balanced, creating an energetic profile with a lasting impression. Bottle aging has added an extra layer of smoothness and satisfying fullness to the wine. This Saperavi pairs excellently with roasted red meats, traditional Georgian BBQ (Mtsvadi), steaks, and aged hard cheeses.
