Produced in the village of Dimi, Baghdati municipality in Imereti, this 2022 Otskhanuri Sapere from Dato Chikhladze’s Marani is crafted in qvevri, giving the wine structural depth and authentic character. The vintage stands out for its clarity and natural balance.
The wine displays a ruby hue. On the nose, blackberry and raspberry notes intertwine with mineral nuances and a subtle touch of chocolate, creating a layered and expressive aromatic profile.
On the palate, round tannins shape a balanced and harmonious structure. The texture is clean and integrated, leading to a medium-length finish marked by fruit and mineral tones. With 11% alcohol, the wine retains elegance and drinkability.
It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, walnut eggplant dishes, Imeretian cuisine, aged cheeses, mushroom-based dishes, and moderately spiced preparations.
