Saperavi Plot #3 from the 2021 vintage is sourced from the premium vineyards of Vachnadziani in the Kakheti region. This dry red wine, crafted using classic techniques and aged in oak barrels, possesses remarkable depth and complexity. With a potent 15.5% alcohol content, it represents a bold and energetic expression of the Saperavi grape.
The wine showcases an intense ruby color. The oak influence is beautifully integrated, offering a sophisticated bouquet of vanilla, warm spices, and dark chocolate, leading into a long and persistent finish. On the palate, the wine is highly structured, featuring a vibrant, "cyanic" acidity and firm, youthful tannins. Given its robust character and oak integration, this wine has excellent aging potential.
Pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, rich stews with spicy sauces, and mature hard cheeses.
