The wine has a dark ruby color with a light brick meniscus. It features well-defined, French oak barrel aromas of cedar, cinnamon, cloves, and pine, with light leather and dried black plum undertones. The wine is full-bodied, with balanced tannins and acidity, high alcohol, and a barrel-flavored finish. The wine needs to be decanted for 40-60 minutes. It has the potential for further aging. Serve between 2024-2030 with blue cheese, grilled steak, smoked ribs, and mushroom risotto.
