Produced in Kvareli, Kakheti, this 2023 Saperavi is crafted using the traditional qvevri method, fully expressing the grape’s natural power and depth. Fermentation and maturation in qvevri provide structural strength and textural intensity, while the Kvareli terroir enhances its distinctive character. The wine displays a ruby hue. On the nose, red berry notes give the wine clarity and intensity, reflecting the typical fruit-driven profile of the variety. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured. The texture is firm and expressive, leading to a persistent finish driven by red fruit nuances. With 13.8% alcohol, the wine shows concentration and strength while remaining balanced. It pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, game dishes, walnut eggplant preparations, traditional Kakhetian cuisine, aged cheeses, and spice-driven dishes.
