This semi-sweet red wine is crafted from Saperavi grapes harvested in Kindzmarauli, one of Kakheti's most celebrated appellations. Produced by Terra Qisi using classic winemaking technology, the natural sweetness and varietal freshness are preserved by arresting the fermentation process. The 2023 vintage stands out for its balance and pleasant structure. The wine displays a bright ruby hue in the glass. The bouquet is of medium intensity, dominated by distinct and lively notes of red currant. On the palate, it is harmonious and refreshing; a vibrant, "cyanic" acidity perfectly counterbalances the natural residual sugar. Combined with an 11.5% alcohol content, it offers a light and approachable profile, leading to a clean, medium-length finish. This Kindzmarauli pairs excellently with desserts, fruit platters, traditional Georgian walnut-based sweets (Churchkhela, Gozinaki), and soft, spicy cheeses.
