Toreli Winery’s 2024 Saperavi from Khashmi is a faithful expression of the Kakhetian terroir, crafted in traditional qvevri and aged on skins for six months. Deep cherry in color, it opens with a bold aromatic profile where black plum, blackcurrant, and wild berries intertwine with a gentle touch of spice.

On the palate, the wine is velvety and vibrant, with bright acidity and ripe, smooth tannins. Its structure and depth reveal both the intensity of qvevri aging and the elegance that defines Khashmi-grown Saperavi. A long, resonant finish adds a final layer of refinement to its character.

The sunny slopes and distinct microclimate of Khashmi bring out a rich concentration in the grapes, making this wine an excellent companion to roasted or grilled meats, mature cheeses, and spiced Georgian dishes.
