This dry amber wine is crafted from Rkatsiteli grapes harvested in the renowned village of Vachnadziani, within the Gurjaani district of Kakheti. The wine is produced using skin-contact technology, a traditional method that imparts exceptional strength, a deep hue, and a classic Kakhetian character. The fertile soils and abundant sunshine of the Vachnadziani vineyards are reflected in this vintage’s perfect maturity and robust structure. The wine displays a brilliant gold color in the glass. The bouquet is filled with ripe notes of white orchard fruits, creating an inviting and pleasant aromatic profile. On the palate, it is powerful and energetic; a vibrant, "cyanic" acidity meets firm, youthful tannins, which, combined with 12% alcohol, result in a full-bodied frame. The experience concludes with an impressively long finish, further emphasizing its quality and aging potential. This amber Rkatsiteli perfectly pairs with grilled meats (Mtsvadi), traditional walnut-based dishes, roasted poultry, and aged hard cheeses.
