Product details:
This dry red wine is crafted from the Skhilatubani grape variety, harvested in the village of Amaghleba, Chokhatauri, within the Guria region. Skhilatubani is one of the rarest and most distinguished Gurian varieties, transformed at the Dolidze Vineyards family cellar using the traditional Qvevri method. The humid and mineral-rich terroir of Guria imparts an exceptional freshness and a sophisticated character to this vintage. The wine displays a beautiful pomegranate hue in the glass. Its bouquet is multi-layered and complex, where notes of black currant and cherry harmoniously blend with floral undertones and aromatic spices. On the palate, it is defined by a medium body and smooth, round tannins. The 13% alcohol content is perfectly balanced with its structure, resulting in an elegant and memorable profile. This Skhilatubani pairs excellently with roasted poultry, traditional Gurian cuisine, pasta, and medium-aged cheeses.Specifications:
