This dry amber wine is crafted from Rkatsiteli grapes harvested in the village of Ozhio, Akhmeta municipality, Kakheti. Produced by "Wine Thieves" using traditional Qvevri methods, this expression gains an authentic Kakhetian character and structural integrity. The 2023 vintage presents itself as a cheerful, light, and approachable amber wine. The wine displays a classic amber hue in the glass. The bouquet is of medium intensity, featuring the varietal traits of Rkatsiteli blended with subtle Qvevri notes. On the palate, the wine is defined by a "cyanic" (vibrant) acidity and soft tannins, giving it a velvety profile. The 12.5% alcohol content is perfectly integrated, while the clean, short finish makes it a pleasant and refreshing choice. This Rkatsiteli pairs perfectly with roasted poultry, boiled chicken, walnut-based appetizers, and fresh cheeses.
