This dry red wine is a superb expression of Saperavi Khashmi, one of Kakheti's most distinguished micro-zones. Produced at "Tvaliashvili Winery" using traditional Qvevri methods, this wine gains exceptional authenticity and structural integrity. The 2024 vintage presents itself as an energetic, robust, and characterful wine. The wine displays an intense pomegranate hue in the glass. Its bouquet is distinguished by distinct mineral notes, a unique characteristic typical of the Khashmi terroir. On the palate, the wine is defined by a "cyanic" (vibrant) acidity, which imparts agility and freshness. The 14% alcohol content is perfectly integrated into the wine's body, culminating in a harmonious, medium-length finish. This Saperavi pairs perfectly with traditional Georgian BBQ (Mtsvadi), roasted red meats, Kakhetian cuisine, and aged cheeses.
