The Mukuzani appellation is one of the most revered zones for Saperavi in Kakheti, known for producing full-bodied, age-worthy reds with both power and finesse — shaped by its unique soils and favorable microclimate.
From one of Kakheti’s most prestigious microzones, 8000 History Mukuzani 2021 is a classic dry red made from Saperavi, offering structure, depth, and elegant power in equal measure.
Deep cherry in color, it opens with intense notes of black cherry, layered with dark chocolate and warm spice. The palate is velvety and harmonious, with refined tannins and a long, balanced finish that speaks to its regional identity.
Made using the classic method, this is a filtered, non-family winery wine — ensuring consistency and a polished, technically sound profile.
Ideal with grilled red meats, game, grain-based meat dishes, or aged cheeses. Also pairs surprisingly well with dark chocolate desserts for a bold yet elegant contrast.
