A refined expression of Georgia’s native Shavkapito grape, this ruby-colored wine from the Khvovle and Tserovani areas of Kartli is aged in oak barrels, which lend it softness, elegance, and a velvety structure. Khvovle and Tserovani are traditional growing zones for Shavkapito in Shida Kartli, where the grape gains freshness, clean red fruit character, and elegant structure.
On the nose, it reveals vibrant red berries and blackberry, with a subtle creamy undertone — a gentle imprint of oak aging. The palate is light and smooth, with soft tannins and a balanced, silky mouthfeel.
Produced by a family winery, this unfiltered, naturally styled wine offers an authentic take on the evolving face of Kartli reds.
Excellent with grilled lamb, light game dishes, braised mushrooms, or roasted vegetables with nuts. Also pairs well with semi-aged cheeses.
