Produced from Saperavi grapes harvested in the prestigious Akhasheni micro-zone of Kakheti, this semi-dry red wine is a bold expression of its variety. At Peradze’s family winery, the fruit reached an impressive level of maturity, resulting in a remarkable 16% alcohol content that gives the wine exceptional strength and body. Crafted using classic techniques, this expression highlights the dormant energy of Saperavi and the natural power of the Akhasheni terroir.

The wine displays a deep pomegranate hue in the glass. The bouquet is of medium intensity, dominated by notes of ripe dark berries. On the palate, it is robust, full-bodied, and firm; a vibrant, "cyanic" acidity perfectly counterbalances the high alcohol and natural residual sugar, creating a harmonious and velvety profile with a lasting impression.

This powerful Saperavi pairs perfectly with spicy Asian cuisine, roasted red meats, traditional Georgian BBQ (Mtsvadi), and aged, pungent cheeses.
