Produced from Saperavi grapes harvested in the specific Kindzmarauli micro-zone of Kakheti, this semi-sweet red wine captures the true essence of its appellation. Crafted by Gevelli using classic winemaking technology, the natural sweetness and aromatic purity are preserved through temperature-controlled fermentation. The 2023 vintage stands out for its balanced harmony and refined structure. The wine displays an intense ruby hue in the glass. The bouquet is of medium intensity, showcasing inviting notes of ripe red berries and black plums. On the palate, it is defined by a medium body and a vibrant, "cyanic" acidity, which perfectly counterbalances the natural residual sugar. The 11.5% alcohol content contributes to a light and smooth mouthfeel, resulting in a velvety and cheerful profile. This Kindzmarauli pairs excellently with fruit platters, light desserts, chocolate cakes, and aged, spicy cheeses.
