ღვინო დამზადებულია კახური ტრადიციული მეთოდით ქვევრში, კახეთის რეგიონის სოფელ ალავერდში მოწეული რქაწითელის ჯიშის ყურძნისგან. ქვევრში ვარგდებოდა ჭაჭაზე 5 თვის განმავლობაში, ხოლო შემდეგ 10 თვით ფრანგული მუხის კასრებში. ახასიათებს ინტენსიური ქარვისფერი შეფერილობა, ოქროსფერი ელფერით. რქაწითელის ჯიშობრივი არომატები გამდიდრებულია კასრში დავარგებისთვის დამახასიათებელი ტონებით. გამოხატულია გამომცხვარი ვაშლის, კომშის, წიწვოვანი მცენარეების, გვირილის ნაყენისა და კურკოვანი ხილის ჩირების არომატები. გემოვნურად საკმაოდ დაბალანსებულიც, აქვს ხავერდოვანი მრგვალი ტანინები და სასიამოვნო გამომშრალი ხილის ჩირის ტონები.
ღვინის ასაკიდან გამომდინარე იგი კარგ ფორმაშია ახლავე მისართმევად, თუმცა აქვს პოტენციალი კიდევ რამდენიმე წლით ბოთლში დაძველების. იდეალური იქნება მისი დაგემოვნება გრილზე შემწვარ ფრინველის ხორცთან და ბოსტნეულის რაგუსთან ერთად.
